It would certainly be nice to have the app so all users can use it. It will not allow updates, not everyone can afford to buy new phones just for the app. Some of us are on fixed incomes, shut ins, unable to walk around store,and carry groceries. Thus, we shop by the app and have delivered.Fred appreciated loyal customers however, that seems lost.
Most of the apps functions work perfectly fine, but I have had countless issues when I go to try to change my order after I’ve placed it. They have a clear button that you are supposed to be able to tap on if you need to make changes to your order before the shopper gets to the store. Most of the time when I press this button, nothing actually happens. It doesn’t even load the next page to allow you to change your order or add items to it. When it actually does work, the shopper never gets the extra stuff that I add to the order. They don’t mention that it’s not available in the store via text updates; it’s almost like the order doesn’t update on their end. I have wasted so much of my own money because of this. This needs to be fixed ASAP.
Just placed my first Meijer online order for pickup. Usually do Target p/u and they ROCK! But Meijer had sodas on sale, haven’t shopped there in eons, so hey. So order said p/u window 6-7pm today. Got order email confirmation, but no ready email, but also no it’s not ready email. I tried to add an item earlier today (ok to edit if they haven’t started picking), but said too late. So I figured I should be there by 7pm. There 6:30 pm. Go inside, because that’s where app said to go (was hoping for parking p/u). Customer service then tells me to go park around side of store where online p/u is 🤣. Text arrival. Wait 20 min. (Target has bags out in like 3 minutes.) Nothing. Lot was empty, now 8 other cars come and go, get their stuff. Call # on sign this time, get “fashion dept.”They have no idea. Go inside. Order isn’t ready. Can’t indicate when, but they’re working on it. Yikes, I could have shopped and been done myself. Said they’d call when ready. (Have had common sense to go home by now.) No call by 8pm. Cancelled order. Never again.
I hate the new app. I use my iPad and it is very hard to see. I am a senior citizen and can’t use the app which I loved. Please offer a different view to download.
I would like the option to have multiple shopping lists. I am making a list for an event coming up. But I also have a list for my weekly shopping trip. I could also make list for a specific dish, say one has a chili recipe. They could have everything they need on this list. Before going to Meijer, check off the items they have at home. Once they are done at the store, clear the list for next time.

No problem with your store in general…. BUT Seriously? Due to online & app requirements unable to open with iPhone or tablet. I’m 71 years old, I Don’t want to purchase additional technology JUST to view Weekly Ad! Shame shame!!! After thought: You’d think with all the ratings complaining of this same issue this Company would take these concerns into consideration. For Pete’s sake your a Grocery store app not my IRS Acct or the Federal Reserve We should be able to view ads & make a shopping list & Not Be Locked Out or experience So Many Glitches that your reviewers mentioned!! For ALL the reviews you have about your app& online mishaps, being Locked Out & forgoing ALL your long time customers… I give you ZERO Stars! Boo to your IT department & whoever authorized the unnecessarily over the top access changes! Boo
Here's basic summation of the issues you'll encounter trying to use this garbage: -You are unable to login when using a VPN, ever. -Clipping coupons in-app doesn't work; you get a network error 400 or 500. -It will log you out if you were logged in previously if you use a VPN. You have failed on every imagineable level to develop an app that serves its intended purpose, and with the wide variety of competitors available to choose from in the modern era, you have lost my business permanently. Good job donkeys.
I used to really like the app. However, the last 2 weeks I cannot upload any receipts. I have double checked all the information and it’s right. I’ve even gone as far as uninstalling the app and downloading it again.
I agree. The new “upgrade” has inconvenienced many MANY loyal customers of yours, and now we cannot access your store to make purchases. Guess you no longer care!
Why does the app regularly log me out? And the app does not even come close to being accurate with inventory. It shows you guys having product on your shelves that I have never once seen a tag for or ever seen on your shelves.
The apps general layout is very busy and distracting. When scrolling items, the pictures are small and you can’t do a simple screen zoom. Simple things like this push customers to other apps/stores to do online shopping.

Meijer pick up is always great, but I have trouble with the app. The only issue is when you add something to your cart it takes forever to load and sometimes it does not actually go in your cart after you add it. It will say it’s out but it’s in such tiny letters it’s easy to miss. So many times I think I order an items and I find out after pick up it never made It into my cart and I’m left without things I need. I try to always check and make sure things get added but I still keep having this problem of not actually buying items I’m certain got added to my cart.
Love the app except it often logs me out when it updates and then takes 7 or 8 tries to let me log back in on iPhone. I wish the list feature would organize itself to the store you’re shopping at instead of having to open each item to see what aisle and section it’s in. I realize they do this on purpose to encourage more impulse purchases.
Can’t load the new updated version on my iPad but my Kroger's still works
When I am in the middle of adding things it freezes and nothing can be done to fix it except unloading and reloading the app.
They need a “clip all” button for their coupons or better yet just load all coupons into the Mperks account. Scrolling through an almost endless list of coupons looking for something to “clip” is really frustrating. Come on Meijer put this perk into your Mperks.
Too bad for Meijer! Their latest app update (probably required by the obsolete-ists at apple) eliminates me and my older iPhone from getting this update and spending my $400-800 per month food budget with this company from GR. Too bad for you. See ya’.
I haven’t been able to log in to my account in weeks. I can view groceries but can’t place an order.
No hate to Meijer whatsoever but this app has never once allowed me to select a grocery pick up time. It just glitches and says to close the window and try again. Believe me, I would love to close the window and try again. If only that were solution enough.
Ever since I switched to a newer phone, I keep having to uninstall, reinstall then log back in to make the shop and scan work again. Otherwise it just sits at checking permissions forever.
Coupons no longer populate when using scan and go, necessitating clipping them in store while shopping. If notified earlier, I could’ve streamlined my shopping experience.
This app updates weekly which seems to not fix anything, but only add new issues. It needs more QA and less frequent releases. The app features are getting worse. They removed gas station prices, QR Shop & Scan, and Pharmacy receipts can’t be scanned for mPerks. In fact, the pharmacy always skips the mPerks screen at checkout. The app doesn’t scan Clearance items and sometimes it doesn’t scan other items. Coupons and discounts don’t appear consistently and mPerks free produce coupons rarely work. It’s a terrible experience and frequently tries to screw over the customer. Call Meijer for receipt adjustments when the app overcharges you.
Since whatever changes were made the app, it doesn’t scan the bar code of receipts you need to add, nor does it let you add it manually. This is very irritating and a headache.
For the rewards section, it won’t scan the barcode on my receipt even though it’s aligned perfectly with the arrows on the camera and in good lighting. How am I supposed to get reward points without getting a stupid Meijer card? I should be able to use the scanner to scan the receipt like it says to earn points, and typing the barcode and information at the bottom, as instructed, in manually does not work. I’ve tried multiple times and just gave up. Fix your app.
Unfortunately my iPad will not update the new Meijer app. I guess I’ll be ordering groceries from your competitors.
Can’t use because I have an older phone. No more Meijer ad insert in the paper. Walmart here I come.

I agree, the required upgrade has made it impossible to use. It used to be a wonderful app, and is inaccessible now.
Time to update the app on my iPad. Okey, dokey. Click “Update” and it takes me to the Apple store. “Open”, okay. Open. And I am right back to where I started. Perhaps I did something incorrectly. 2 more times, I circle through “Update…Open…Update…Open”. The app is now useless on my iPad. Disappointed. I will have to go through a web browser from now on. Since the app is now not useable,who ever designed the update did not do a service to Meijer or their customers.
I have been using the Meijer app for many many years on my iPad mini. Without any issues now with the update I am not able to use my app at all because I do not have the iPad 16 update capabilities. My iPad is old. I am very upset that I can no longer use that and feel that you should have an app that is universal to all users! Please fix this problem.
How many items do I need to buy to save ANY money? Plus BOGO really discriminates against single people. I can’t always use one of some things before they get rotten - why should I buy 3, or 5, or 7? I prefer the quality of Meijer’s, but it is too much work. Sorry you can’t find a way to have my business, because I’m a loyal customer (until it feels like a part-time job that I’m not getting paid to do).

Unable to edit order. I don’t know if I’ll receive the items I need for tonight. I like Meijer stores, but I wouldn’t recommend this app.
Like others, I’m disturbed I can’t use your app anymore. My iPhone is old and supports your last, older app, but not the new one. I can’t afford a newer phone and my old phone won’t support ios16. Guess I won’t be shopping at Meijer anymore. You just slammed the door on me!
The app has been so hard to use lately. It lags and freezes on my iPhone 16 pro max on WiFi or 5G. I’ve deleted, restarted, and installed the app multiple times and I’m still having issues. Please fix.
This is the worst app for doing online pickup orders!! Multiple times when I’ve been doing pickup orders the price will say on sale and a completely different price than what it actually is. Making it impossible to plan my groceries based on price. I’ve reported this issue several times, yet it still isn’t resolved. Super frustrating!!
Too expensive and they disabled their own app to force you to buy a new phone. Do not shop at Meijer they absolutely do not care about their customers or our country!

It’s terrible that you have forced a lot of people to shop elsewhere due to your app requirements, my phone will not accept the 16.0 update and I have no use or reason to buy a new phone, I have deleted your app and replaced it with Pete’s Market, shopping in their store I have found fully stocked shelf’s, the produce dept is fantastic with larger of everything and better prices throughout the store, I would recommend to everyone that cannot upgrade to Meijer’s requirements to not buy a new phone but to switch stores, my phone accepted Pete’s app with no problems and it’s actually easier to use, you clip the items you want and when you get to the checkout you just open the app to my card and scan it and your done, no keypads, phone numbers or Pin to deal with.

Can’t use app with my iPhone. Tried to get the benefit of mailed to me coupons. The mgr. said they are made to use with/on your iPhone. Buy a new phone. Can’t help me. What an imbecile. Rude! Such horrible customer service, and he’s the mgr.
Wanted to write a product review (wonderful product) - but I have to enter my name & emal & whatnot to do so? Even though I am signed into the app I use everyday.
For months now everytime I use the app and pick my items, when I receive my order some items are always missing. Then I immediately call customer care and they don’t see the items either… it’s so annoying and makes me want to stop shopping at Meijer
